The Rifles who are the largest regiment in the British Army are our County Regiment and can trace their history back to 1702. Throughout their history men and women from Cornwall have filled their ranks and served with distinction. Our Cornwall Army Cadet Force wears their Cap badge and many veterans live in our community.

The Regiment were extremely proud to receive this honour and presented the Town with a Silver Bugle as a symbol of their thanks!

Presentations were then given on what our Regiment are doing across the world today both Regular and Reserves as well as on the Army Cadets within Cornwall.
