I am honoured to stand as the Labour Councillor for the Calstock Division, representing Gunnislake, St Ann’s Chapel, Chilsworthy, Harrowbarrow, Latchley, Metherell, and Calstock. It would be a privilege to continue the outstanding work Dorothy has achieved under Labour over the past 12 years.

Growing up in Calstock, I’ve experienced the benefits of a safe, rural community with excellent education. Now, as a parent and youth worker, I am ready to give back to the community that shaped me. Not only do I understand the challenges our villages face, and the improvements needed to make daily life easier, but I will be a strong voice for ensuring our area gets the attention it deserves.

If elected, I will prioritise better access to healthcare, focusing on bringing back the family GP and work with the Dental Access Taskforce to get better access to NHS dental care. I will fight to keep local people local making sure that they stay in their homes at every stage of life. Protecting our rural environment and biodiversity is also vital, so cleaning up the River Tamar is a central goal of mine.

By working with landlords, developers, officers, social care providers, the NHS and the council – I will address the issues that matter most to you. Together, we can build a stronger, fairer, and more vibrant community for everyone.
