I was born in Cornwall and have lived and worked here for most of my life. I have a deep-rooted love and affinity with the county I call home and would be honoured to represent those that live here. I believe that my connection allows me to have a good overview of the issues and concerns of the residents and a feasible understanding of the problems that affect their lives.

I have worked in education in different areas of Cornwall but settled in South East Cornwall back in 2010 to raise my family. Living in South East Cornwall and raising my three children here allows me to personally relate to the problems faced by my fellow constituents in many areas such as health, education, the environment and housing. I share with them a great level of frustration at the poor decisions that have recently been made on our behalf. My family and I have made use of many of the services and facilities that have suffered under the current government so we have a vested interest in seeing improvements and making a change.

I look forward to helping strive for change in our local communities as your local Cornwall Councillor.
